According to a Sony spokesman, some five million e-ink reader devices were sold worldwide in 2009, and sales are projected to hit 12 million this year. Wow.
It’s taken six years, but Sony has at long last brought its ereader range – in the form of the just-launched Sony Reader Touch ($299) and Pocket Editions ($229) – to Australia, partnering with Borders and Angus & Robertson in the process.
There is a name for it. That euphoric feeling when you are so caught up in an experience, enjoying it so much, that you forget about the rest of the world and its troubles for a while.
